Active ingredient: 1-Methylcyclopropene (1-MCP)

2. The notable functions of I-Fresh (1-MCP 3.3% Powder)

1) I-Fresh is a preservative, special used to keep fresh of fruits, vegetables and fruits. It can significantly prolong the storage time.

2) Toxicity of I-Fresh: LD50 > 5000mg/kg, this is very low. Actually, it is safe to human.


3. How I-Fresh works:

1) The two key factors to influence the agricultural products on storage time

----- Respiration intensity (Mainly controlled by temperature)

----- Ethylene

2) 1-MCP can competitive with Ethylene to combine with receptor and the receptor binding activity of 1-MCP is 10 times higher than Ethylene. So, 1-MCP can control the effect of Ethylene to keep fresh.
